Ezra Distler has been a photographer since the age of nine. After attending a professional school for photography in 2004, he has pursued photography as a career. A portion of his ongoing work on the Brattleboro Faces Project, which seeks to present a broad range of portraits of Brattleboro residents, was shown at the Vermont Center for Photography in August of 2019. In early 2020, he was among the first to be awarded a Town Arts Fund grant by the Arts Council of Windham County to continue this work.
