Marshall Brooks is the author of several books, among them Paperback Island and Onetime Meetings. He is the proprietor of Arts End Books, a literary arts press, which has featured the lost writings of printer, typophile, and Time Life journalist Sherry Mangan, among others. Brooks owns five printing presses, including a Washington-style iron hand press manufactured by Tarbett & Fraser, one of three known examples. He and his wife, Stephanie Greene, live in West Dover, Vermont.
